Just saw it on TV.
See what I mean about uniforms? He didn't wear his uniform when he
held up the store.
If he was wearing his uniform, he would have made a conscious *not* to
do the armed robbery.
Uniforms prevent crime.

What did the fact that he was a Marine have to do with the story and why did
they report it that way?

There are good and bad in any profession. Just be thankful for the good
ones in uniform, most especially the ones who have given their life for you
so you have the freedoms and liberty you now have.
