Actually mine was worse as I actually had to do a system restore to avoid a bad memory references after the update. The only way I can open .avi's is to right click and choose open with and select Play With Internet Explorer. I couldn't even do that - I had to go into the Control Panel to reassociate everything. Now I can at least play the .avi file, but it won't launch automatically. I've got to figure out how to make that work properly. I've been busy working on the new boat and haven't been online much. I've had her out on Quinsig a few times and I think I've gotten most of the bugs out... http://www.monkeybutler.com/boat/c65.jpg http://www.monkeybutler.com/boat/c71.jpg http://www.monkeybutler.com/boat/c35.jpg ... but I'm waiting on some parts for the Powerwinch and I still have a few hardware items to fix but I'm hoping to get out on the salt next week. The fishing lesson offer still good? 10-4 - anytime you want. You have my email address and we can do either Fisher's Island/Westerly Reef or Narragansett Bay - take your pick. I might suggest you get a Sea//Tow or BoatUS towing membership though before you go. If something craps out and you are a ways from your launch ramp, it's expensive without the towing insurance. |
