Hey guys. Earlier I posted a new discussion asking for you to
identify this engine and I showed pictures of it too. In case you
don't remember, its this link
http://groups.google.com/group/rec.b...nk=ol&hl= en&
Could you possibly find a manual for the type of engine that this is?
I did google this too, but didn't find anything. We believe it is a
Chevy 327 V8, Twin engines. if you think it is something else, you
are welcome to find that manual for me as well. If you could find
these manuals for me please, that would be great. Thanks!

Go to any autoparts store and they will have a small block chevy manual.

I think the best you are going to find is some generic engine manuals covers
that era. All the basic small blocks are pretty much interchangable. I'd
be really surprised if you find anyting specific to whatever some one has
done to marinize it which would be considerable if it really is a small
block. As I think was mentioned before it's very likely that the exhaust
system needs replacing.

all chevys have the distributor mounted at the back of the engine near the
flywheel side of the crankshaft.
