Wrong - if gas is more expensive people drive more economical cars and use
less - FACT! If it goes to taxes, we MIGHT get better mass transit. If gas
has been taxed at higher rate in the 90's, which the republicans fought
against, we would be much closer to energy intendance today and the oil
companies would not have room in pricing to gouge us like they are doing
now.

Then go after the stock holders.

THEN MAKE YOUR PRESIDENT DRILL FOR OIL IN AMERICA WHERE THERE IS

There is plenty of oil shale, which is only profitable to use IF the price
of oil is high, oil fields are debatable.

Oooooh - I forgot "NOT IN MY YARD" to oil drilling........

Guess what - The hurrican damage has been long repaired at the gulf
coast....


WRONG AGAIN! The water is gone, Bourbon street is open, of course it was
not hit as bad a residential areas, but there is still massive devastation
in Louisiana.
