Lo siento~I am sorry.

Sorry that family did not get stuck on the Lake on a 20 foot runabout during
that nasty thunderstorm?

Translate this.............'go screw yourself Doug'.

Cool

It was nasty around here today. I stayed at the dock. That is one of the reasons I purchased a radar system so I can see those storms far off enough so as to have time to head to port before it hits or if a localized storm dodge it.

Perhaps he was sorry you had to cut short your boating because of a storm.
Did that occur to you?

What winds were associated with that front?

The radar image looks like one of the typical (and perpetual)
rainstorms we see in the Pac NW. We go boating in the rain aournd
here.....because if we didn't we would *never* get away from the dock.
Back where the weather is mostly dry this time of year, it undoubtedly
makes more sense to postpone. We also seldom worry about
thunderstorms, due of course to a lack of hot weather.

Gusts to about 30-35 mph. The area around Sandusky to Vermilion was under a
tornado watch also.

Good thing you didn't venture out.

25-30 kt winds *should* keep nearly everybody in port, certainly
including folks with most runabouts. My boat is a bit bigger, but my
personal standard of comfort is to stay put when it's blowing 25 knots
or better.
