Well, if the terrorists didn't know how to do it, now, that article should
give them a few ideas.

Tom G.

Please. The terrorists today are far more sophisticated than they were
before Bush invaded Iraq and provided an endless supply of U.S.
personnel on which to practice and perfect their tradecraft. Our
military has said that from time to time...the IED's being used today
are way more advanced than those of a couple of years ago.

I'm expecting one of the next large attacks on us to be housed within a
container on a freighter in a U.S. harbor. After all, we only inspect 3%
of those cargo containers.

It's a sad commentary when al Qaeda has more credibility about its deeds
and intentions than the U.S. Department of Homeland Fear & Insecurity.

Harrie, is that you? Talking about credibility?

I wonder what they're thinking of using for money to fund this extra effort.

No problem at all... you have infinitely deep pockets.... just tax and
spend! Absolutely NO problem.....

Department of Homeland (IN)Security Budgets:

FY 2005 $40,200,000,000
FY 2006 $41,100,000,000
FY 2007 $42,700,000,000
FY 2008 $45,100,000,000

http://www.dhs.gov/xabout/budget/

What a frippin' waste of money.

I'm surprised the Democrats haven't greatly reduced the budget.

You're right. Key words, "in the harbor". By the time the container gets on
land, it's too late. That's why it's stupid to 'inspect' them after they're
off loaded. Point of origin, Harry, point of origin.

Of course, you've got to preach the Dem's mantra, so your opinions are
understood.

Glad to be back, Donnie. Thanks for the welcome. Nope, I'm taking grand
kids on a Disney cruise in October. Went to NC to play some golf with a
brother. Had a great time.

BTW, my boat runs great! The Rappahannock is a great place to catch
croaker, which is a great fish for getting kids hooked on fishing.
