Lost palmico 135T red kayak on St-Lawrence this past weekend
 

Hi,

One of our kayak, a Wilderness Systems red Palmico 135T, which is a 2-
seater with 1 extra large cockpit, was blown away this past weekend.
There was also 3 sets of paddles in it (yes, 3, not 2). We were
camping at the Upper Canada Bird Sanctuary campground, about 25 KMs
west of Cornwall. The kayak was not properly beached and it was blown
away sometime Sunday afternoon or early evening by the strong north
winds. I went for a 3 hour kayak ride the next morning hoping to find
it stuck along the north shores of some of the islands in the area
without success. If you have found it or heard of someone finding such
a kayak, could you please send an email back to me? I would be so
grateful. Since there are damns in Cornwall and the locks, it's either
stuck on an island somewhere between Upper Canada and Cornwall or was
stopped at the locks or damns.
