Volvo Penta Cobra Overheating
 

I have a 1996 Volvo Penta sterndrive with a 5.8 liter ford engine. The
last time I went to the lake the boat overheated almost right away & the
automatic RPM cutoff engaged at ~2700 RPM. The motor/boat has ~130 hrs
on it. Any ideas of where to start looking for the problem ? (e.g.
thermostat, water pump, something clogged in the cooling system)
