Default Boat Overheats

Hello,
I have a 5.0 ltr merc with a Bravo 3.
Its still on land as I get it ready for the season.
I put earmuffs on it and let it warm up.
After it warms up it starts to overheat. There is NO water coming out.
My question is:
What is most likely the cause, The seawater pump, the theremostat or
the circulating pump.
I'd like to try to start with the "Most likely" and work my way down.
The boat is 4 years old. I use it in the Barnaget bay from May to
October and dry dock it from there.
Thanks
Mike
