A broker really isn't interested in storing a boat or making much effort in

Absolutely correct, which is why few brokers screw around with
inexpensive boats.

As Tom already discovered, there can be as much work and heartache
involved in a $4,500 deal as in a $45,000 deal,....... and the guy who
wants to spend $450,000? He is often the easiest to sell. If he's
spending that much he very well might know something about boats and
his specific needs, and unless his expectations are absurd he's got
enough money in the game that he can pick through the better
offerings.

I'm adding the following to the Halman ad.

PLEASE READ BEFORE RESPONDING:

1 - I am not selling the trailer separately.

2 - I will not sell the boat w/o the trailer/engine.

3 - I will not sell the sails individually.

4 - All surveyors must present a business card with proper
identification of marine certification association prior to any
survey.

"Duh.... will y' take $50.00 down, and $50.00 a month payments on the
3rd, when I git my check??"

Sure.

Come to think of it, this would be the perfect boat for you. :)

Too funny. We recently went thru the boat selling experience. Had a
small skiff that was not being used much and taking up too much room in
my garage.

Listed it via the local paper, to a number of sources, and it sold
quickly. I think back and guess I could of asked for more, but I
actually pocketed a few hundred more than we paid for it. Those small
skiffs in SW Florida do not last long on the market, they seem to be one
of the styles in very high demand.

I was out of town, fielded at least a dozen serious callers, then called
them all to let them know when I was getting back in town. The second
person to who looked at it, bought it. All in all a very reasonable and
semi-pleasurable experience.

Now the fleet is down to 3. Assuming the kayaks can be counted in the
fleet. I figure they float, so why not. It's my fleet and I'm sticking
to it!

Happiest of Mother's Day out there to all the Moms!

If Mrs. Wave, SWMBO, has her way, there will be one boat only.

I've talked her into two. :)

But I have to upgrade one of those to include something with more
amenities - like a potty room.

Women - go figure.
