Eisboch It's all funny till someone gets an eye poked out, or a kid smashed under the back wheels. Last year we were considering downgrading our vehicles for gas price reasons as we do a lot of driving. Did get rid of the 2x4 pickup but decided to keep the 4x4 anyway. I was considering downgrading to a Rav4 but once I started towing for the season I was glad I kept the bigger truck. To the video again, it is funny but it easily could have gone in a real bad way, fast for that kid on the front of the trailer. |

They were "interesting" in snow, so they got replaced with Nokian WRs, which were amazing, but I wore them out. The BFGs are back on the truck until winter, at which point, I'll spend some real money on something decent again. |

No doubt, any or all of that can help on many ramps. But I've seen slime on ramps slick enough to defeat any traction design or device known to man. Rick I've seen that very same slime. Once, it invited me into the water up to my chest while trying to help the boat onto the trailer. Now, the wallet comes out of my pocket before I step onto a ramp. It's such a pain in the ass to get a waterlogged pistol permit replaced in NY. |
