First Time Start-up of Volvo Penta
 

Just Spent 3 months Re-upholstering and wiring a boat that I
purchased. 1976 20' Ski boat with a Volvo-Penta AQ 170 Inline 6
engine.

It is time to start this thing up, and I am nervous. What are the
procedures that I should run through first. Changing oils, in the
engine, and Grease in the drives?

I bought this bought from someone that I know and trust, who I am sure
'Winterized' it. It has not been started in 3 years atleast though.
Whether they changed the evrything or not, I want to re-'lube'
everything before I start her up. I have seen the checklist before,
but cant seam to find it, not that the time has come. I/O,
everything......does anyone have suggestions.....

Make sure you have water to the lower unit inlets ;).
