Default Lakes etc to paddle in Tasmania

Just wondering if anyone has any info on paddling on lakes or calm
water in Tasmania. My wife and I are quite new to kayaking and are
thinking of going to Tassie maybe later in the year.We have a Old Town
Loon 111 and a Perception Arcadia 370, so are really not sea kayaks.

Hello there, the Taswegians seem to have a strong interest in
whitewater and sea kayaking although they have a lot of lakes
and rivers that are suitable for fla****er paddles. You might like to
have a look at http://www.adventurepro.com.au/paddleaustralia/
for reviews or try posting in the forum.

Failing that there are quite few Tassie clubs on the net that
you could try emailing.
