Our local police marine bureau got a couple of these last year. One is
docked a few slips down from my boat. They're cool looking, great
handling and they're fast. Otherwise, my police friends down the dock
have little nice to say about them. Among other things, the cabin is
too tiny and uncomfortable for long shifts, towing is clumsy, they've
had mechanical problems and I am told there is no room for a stretcher,
so in the event of having to respond to injuries or a water rescue they
have to call in their big ol' trusty Bertrams anyway.

Mechanical probs with the boats, engines, or both?

I wonder how they handle in rough water...
