Wily Coyote, not Bugs.

Are you sure? I thought for sure that Bugs stole the Illudium PU-36
Explosive Space Modulator, from Marvin the Martian.

Oh well, it won't be the first time I've been wrong...

You may be correct, but it is normally Wily that gets the explosives.

What kind of yokels came up with that theory? Around here (NY Great Lakes
shoreline region), we know who to blame: The Army Corps of Engineers. :-)

Shall I assume that your attempt to personalize our discussion and
speculate upon what I might think about unrelated subjects is an
admission that you're out of mental ammo and reduced to firing blanks?

What sort of boat do you own, Fred? Where and how do you use it?

In addition to the GPS system, the December solar flare affected

WHAT!?!?!?!?!?! I thought SCIENTISTS were INFALLIBLE!

If you believe that there is no global warming, you are free to think
so.

Explain this:

and this:

And then call your friends (if you have any) in Detroit and ask them how
they're enjoying "global warming". Don't worry about not reaching them -
they'll be at home because the Tigers are SNOWED out.

Your posts with their convoluted logic
remind me of JAX's rambling pseudo-science

Ah, "guilt by association" - a truly pathetic technique.

A couple of observations;

We need to be careful that we don't confuse climate and weather. They
are two different concepts.

If we are seeing a greater amount of weird weather than normal ("if")-
that could be an indicator of warming even if the weird weather in the
winter or early spring is colder than normal temperatures.

How so? It's the general warming of the earth, and most particularly
the warming of the poles, that is the problem. A rise of several
degrees in temperature at the poles will somewhat disrupt the currents
of air and ocean water that travel from the poles toward the tropics
and back due to the simple physics that warm air (and warm water)
rises and cold air and cold water falls.
As winds and currents shift, weather becomes more unpredictable.

Pointing out freaky weather conditions around the country actually
supports the theory you oppose, and I just thought you might like to
consider that factor.

I'll bet you think cold water boils faster too.

Ever notice how global warming is the cause of everything? It is one
of the elements of a pseudo science, it has no boundaries.

A few years ago, the Great Lakes water level dropped quite a bit. All
the alarmists claimed it was the result of global warming. Then the
water dropped further, exposing a log roadway built on the shoreline
early in the 19th century.- Hide quoted text -

I love it. 99.99% of scientists, with stacks of data and facts, from
all parts of the world, agree that global warming is taking place at
an alarming rate. The only people who don't believe it are those who
get their data from Rush or Bush.
