What kind of snaps do I use?

The cover for my 1996 needs to have new snaps installed. It seems they are
available in two flavors, stainless steel and nickle plated brass. This boat
is stored and used in a salt water enviroment. Cost is not an issue. Which
one is best?

If long term appearance is important to you, I'd vote for stainless.

Agreed, but I'd make absoutely sure they are non-magnetic stainless.
