Sometime in late May Bruce Willis and John Stamos hopefully will be filming
"Die Hard 4" off the shores of Lake Erie in my home town, with scenes to
include exploding 58 foot go fast boats:

As Rob Reiner mused about Matrix, if they had taken $50,000 of the
money they spent on special effects and bought a script they might
have had a good movie. I fear DH4 will suffer from the same malady.
When you have seen a dozen boats blow up you have seen them all.

Interesting, but I doubt if those are going to be decked out hulls,
they're going to be creaming. Probably stripped out dudes with
mercruiser 140's in them.

spewing fuel, and fire in the air, and sending toxic engine oils,
chemicals, and fiberglass into the drink?

That would make sense..............but does anything Hollywood does make
sense?

I have personally seen completely loaded GM test cars crushed, with nothing
(including engines, transmissions, top grade stereos/speakers and custom
wheels) removed before crushing. The salvage return to GM.......$900/car
at that time.

Go figure.
