Update on daughter
My daughter is doing much better now than she was a year ago at this time.
She's told much of her story, abbreviated, at her web site for the Susan Komen Race for the Cure to be held in Richmond later on. Pictures of her and family and last year's team are on the site. Please take a moment, visit her site, and, if you're able, make a donation (just click on "Support Renee"). She doesn't get any money, but that's the way the page is! I will match any donation made by members of the group before 1 April, 2007. That gives everyone about two weeks. Just forward to me a copy of the receipt from the foundation, and don't make an anonymous donation! Thanks in advance for your generosity! http://www.komenrichmond.org/site/TR...040&px=1015621 or: http://tinyurl.com/264wfd -- ***** Hope your day is better than decent! ***** John H |

Jim, I didn't receive an email, nor do I see your name on the site. Please let me know how much you donated so I can match it. And, thanks a bunch for your donation. I'll kick a bit of something into the kitty (although is there any way to avoid being listed on the "honor roll"? Maybe some avenue to donate where the amount wouldn't be publicly displayed?) I haven't made my donation yet, but last year it was possible to do so 'anonymously'. It's possible to make a donation by phone, and maybe they'll credit it to a team if asked. Or, send a check and ask that it be credited to the 'Racing for Renee' team, or send me a check and I'll make a donation for you. Lastly, I've noticed that if the donation is small enough, it won't show. I don't know what the threshold is. Or, just make the donation and let your name show up. I sure won't think less of you for it! -- ***** Hope your day is better than decent! ***** John H |
