BTW, Pulling my Chris Craft Scorpion 169 with a single axle trailer, my old sedan got 18 mpg if I took it easy with the speed limit. 15 if I pushed it a bit. The 23' cuddie on a dual axle trailer ironically pulls easier. so I expect I'll get about the same milage pulling a larger load. One thing I've noticed is theres a lot of cute little SUVs out there (Dodge Durango?) That don't get that kind of milage while pulling nothing. A fried of mine had a Durango and he gets about 15-18 mpg with it, with no load. He's not impressed. |
