"JimH" wrote in message ... ........with a foot to a foot and a half of snow expected to fall by midmorning tomorrow and temperatures falling to single digits overnight. This storm is a huge one, south to Florida and north to the NE states. http://radar.weather.gov/radar_lite....111 1&loop=no http://radar.weather.gov/Conus/Radar...test_Small.gif How are things by you? By the time that storm hits us along the coast tomorrow, we'll get some snow but then it's expected to turn to rain. Fairly high winds expected. There are 3 to 5 foot drifts everywhere. Everything is shut down. This storm had to have dumped another foot or so of snow on folks in the Rochester and Buffalo New York area, with those areas already having 10+ feet of snow on the ground. Drifts? Ha. What about straight-down snow? http://www.9wsyr.com/news/local/stor...a-49a90d13fb86 Amazing pictures. They're supposed to get another two feet today. :-) They laugh about it out that way. |
