Might actually be good some morning next summer out on the boat. Yeah, swinging at anchor, sun coming up, gulls scrawing, pilothouse door ajar to let a cool, salt-scented breeze into the cabin and a slice of Spam sizzling next to a farm fresh egg in the griddle. All I need now is a can of Spam, and about a 5 month advance in the calendar. :-) Fried Spam and egg sandwiches, with some mayo and hot sauce (Franks or equivalent), simply can't be beat. An alternative, also available in the canned meat section, is canned corned beef. Mixed with some lemon juice, mayo. chopped onions, and pepper (as much as you like), this makes a great sandwich also. -- ***** Have a super day! ***** John H |
