You've gotten awfully excited this early in the morning. We've got an inch of snow, so the schools are closed. You got any snow up there? An inch of snow, and you guys close school? |

My youngest son is a trooper in South Carolina and he is constantly amazed at how a simple 1/2" of snow can cripple the interstate and local roads. |

An inch of snow, and you guys close school? The county builds three 'snow days' into the schedule. If they aren't used, then the school year must end three days before the scheduled date. This does some heavy duty screwing with the end of year schedule. Therefore, this late in the winter, the county will look for reasons to give 'snow days'. This was the first for this school year. -- ***** Have a super day! ***** John H |
