Default Following tug boats via your computer....

about a year or so ago, I was reading in some of the rec.boats forums,
cruising, sailing, building etc. And someone had posted a link to
watching boats in the great lakes. it wasn't satilite imagine, but it
showed a rough map of the Great Lakes, and these little white dots,
and you could point your cursor over the dot and find out the name of
the boat , tugs especially, and whatch them move around the waters.

I've done some searching for that link, and have lost it, and haven't
been able to retrieve it again.

Anybody know what it is?

Thanks!

Very true, Jim.

But one thing was of interest to me was following around the S.S.
Gladiator. I had distant cousin (now deceased) who used to captian the
Gladiator in the early 80's

That makes sense now.............for a moment I thought you needed some
constructive things to do with your free time. ;-)

BTW: I certainly have run out of things to do post
surgery.............almost like the movie Ground Hog Day......waking up and
reliving what you did yesterday........TV, internet, reading, TV, internet,
reading, TV, internet, reading................

I once knew a captain who was gladiator. Maybe not the same thing,
though.

It only showed one boat in Halifax... a Coast Guard ship.
Something wrong there.
