Among the odd items spotted at day 1 of the Boat Show is a box anchor.
I have been vaguely aware of these for a while, but there is a vendor
at the show really working hard to dum up interest in them.

Must confess that while I have an appreciation for most common anchor
types and their characteristics, the box anchor is a new one on me.

Anybody use one, or able to speak to their principles of operation and
effectiveness?

Um... You are supposed to take the anchor out of the box before you use
it.
