I'm just looking for a ballpark estimate here. We have a 16' fiberglass
Tanzer, pretty old. No cabin for this size boat, but it does have a
little cuddy area in the bow. The boat and documentation (assuming I
can find it) are stored on a different property, and I need a
guesstimate of how much it and the trailer weigh. Appreciate any
thoughts.

A CL 16 weighs 365 and a 16' Wayfarer about 385 lbs.

A trailer for them shouldn't weigh more than 300 lbs.
This is a great size because it can be towed by the smallest cars.

Hey -- that's my boat!

She's so old I just assumed nothing would be up on the Internets. Had
her since I was a child. And the other poster, Don White, said a
trailer should be 300 lbs. Mine may well be less than that.
