303 vs UV Tech For Seals?

I've been using 303, but am running low.

OS Systems touts UV Tech like it's hands-down the best stuff for protecting
rubber dry suit seals.

But I notice that the per-gallon cost of 303 and UV Tech are about the same.

Any chemists out there? Is the stuff really better than 303?

As the saying goes, "Never ask a barber if you need a haircut."
Because OS Systems makes money on the latex-gasket replacement business,
I'm not sure they're an impartial observer. Perhaps they are right,
but until we get actual testimonials about UV Tech, I'd stay with 303.

In May 1999, Ken Fink of Poseidon Kayak Imports in Walpole Maine
touted UV Tech here on RBP. He left a phone number.

There's no mention of UV Tech on Boatertalk that I can find.

I've been using UV Tech for a while and if you want a testimonial, all I can say
is that I can find no difference between it and 303. FWIW. I'll be the first
to admit that says almost nothing. :-)

What we really need are lab tests to compare the two on UV rejection,
durability, damage to latex. fabrics etc. Don't hold your breath.

OTOH, McNett makes some good products (e.g. Aquaseal) so if brand recognition is
worth anything, work with that.

The claimed characteristic that caught my eye was "rejuvenation"... Sort of
tickled my BS alert system....

OTOH, I would think that OS Systems are earnest - if not 100% perfectly
informed....

One positive thing about McNett UV Tech -- looks like the spray bottle
is superior to the 303 spray bottle.

It's likely they have similar chemicals inside.
