Inflatable Repair (Tacoma/Olympia/Seattle) ?

A stern mounted inflatable got hooked on a cleat yesterday taking off from the
dock.

It's got a pretty good gash out of it at the stern end of the tube.

Know of anyplace that specializes in inflatable repairs?

As a matter of fact, yes.

There's a decent shop just east of the south end Ballard Bridge, I
think it's called the Inflatable Boat Center now (used to be West Coast
Frogs). You will find a fair number of inflatables being repaired there
for the fishing fleet at Fishermen's Terminal. Head east from the south
end of the Ballard Bridge, and if you get to the lumber and hardware
store you just missed it.

Inflatable Boat Works always had a pretty good shop when they were
located over by SPU.
They have changed hands, and are now in the old Hatch and Kirk building
on Leary Way (near Carter VW/Saab) in Ballard. I don't know if their
old repair crew went with them, but they are now affilitated with
Seattle Yacht Service and the parent company has a decent reputation
for repairs and service.

I wouldn't hesitate to have a boat patched at either place.

Thanks -- Inflatable boat works didn't return a call. I'll try inflatable boat
center.
