Living on a boat in Toronto - year round

I am considering buying and moving onto a boat in Toronto - lots of
research for a newby.

I know some people moor year - round, but I can't seem to get a price
for all season.

Has anyone done this in Toronto? Can you recommend a marina? Besides
the weather - are there other major considerations?

I will do this if I can get my 34' Chris Craft (might buy) into a place
year round where I can have at least 30 amps and wireless internet.

I don't want to pay more than $450/month for everything. Am I dreaming?
Am I a lubber?

Chris

This guy moved on up from a Sandpiper 565 like mine, to living aboard a
Niagara 35 sailboat in Toronto harbour.
he's usually only too glad to share his experiences.

Maybe it's hard to get a price because marina owners don't expect you to
survive, so they don't want to encourage you. :-)
