This is the quietest sailing group that I have ever seen. No ranting, no
bragging, nothing. |

If you want ranting and screaming about everything but sailing try
alt.sailing.asa I don't even bother anymore because if there is sailing content, it's too hard to find and soon changes to a name calling flame war. Matt Colie D Parker wrote: its becalmed!! yeh .. I spent a year or two there. It got too hard to read through the
dribble and chestbeating. There wasnt enough time in my day. So I lurk there occasionally. But thats it. DP "Matt Colie" wrote in message ... Anyone in? Well, some one has to bite, I guess. Any one in who? Or is that any one in whom? Aside, I wonder if perhaps we have been too good at answering questions; perhaps there are no others in quandry? Did I just answer the question? I take it back. I actually bought a powerboat, a 14' 25 hp o/b. Any one have a copy of a ' 90 mercury 20 hp o/b owners manual or shop repair manual, or know where to get one? The zoomer will be a water taxi for anyone who wants to rent my sailboat next summer, if I am able to manage it. (Where are all the American tourists?) My pancreas cancer operation was a huge success, unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your point of view, the surgeon is famous, the students all passed, I got to do my civic duty as a training aid, they discovered I did not have pancreatic cancer, only a cyst blocking my bile duct, caused by firewood logging up my mountain. I dropped a log on my guts. Now, I have the commonly occurring (after deep abdominal surgery) major inguinial hernia. I carry my guts around in something that resembles one of my wife's girdles. At least the surgery was free, as will be the remedy, eventually. Another good thing or two: I can borrow the girdle indefinitely, and I can now get away with wearing lady's underwear and I don't have to sail my bilge keeler on the ice. So, I am in lady's underwear who? Terry K P.S. How you doin', Skip? |
