I confessed a long time ago that I'm not a good typist.

I figured I'd have to repeat it for you,

because you're not very bright.

Oh, damn that's funny!!!!!!
Calling ME "not very bright"..........."quriosity"????? Heeehee!!!

That wasn't a typo. Look at your keyboard, the letter Q is nowhere near
the letter C. Liar.

Yeah, you must be correct, this guy must have thought curiosity started
with a "Q".

Bass do you really believe the words you type?

How else would it happen? Why would a finger be anywhere near the Q
when typing a C?

By God, this is fun! Bassie, you're easier to set off than an Estes
rocket!!!

Your infatuation with me is strange, to say the least.

Thank you John, That's much appreciated. There is a local lake here
that the local municipality enjoys a $35.00 permit to use their lake.
which isn't bad. PLUS you have to show proof that your boat carries a
$100,000. liability policy. which isn't bad either. I don't thinkt he
State is gong to do much about that, though. And my favorite lake
(Carlyle IL) has $3.00 launch fees per launchor a $30.00 per year
permit with unlimited access, and the fees are controled by the Army
Corps of Engineers.

The fees that New Hampshire towns currently collect are a form of personal
property tax based on the size and age of your boat, and upscale waterfront
communities tend to attract upscale boats with upscale fees. These fees
don't actually get you on the water though; to do that you would need to
find either a no-cost/ low-cost public launch, or pay a private entity a
higher launch fee. If you opt for the public launch site you might want to
bring a lunch as it could be an all-day job. That $3/launch or $30/year fee
you spoke about seems very fair to me. In these days of tight state and
municipal budgets, boaters are looked on as a reliable revenue stream, while
public services for boaters are viewed as luxuries for the rich.

One would surmise that, yes, they'd need to be pretty close. Unless you
have hooves for hands or something. Take a look at your keyboard, and
tell me, how could you possibly get a q when you wanted a c, if you
have fingers?

I always blame keyboard design.

Maybe he went to a private school?

I just tried to look at it. Craigslist said the post had expired.

I'm in Richmond VA. Most of the population can't speak proper English
(assuming they're trying). Damn few of them in the city itself
understand boats, which is why I'm entertaining suggestions about where
to move.

I taught ESL for four years. Only the Russians, Ukrainians, and
eastern Europeans learned well. I saw only a few Asians.

It was probably the watermark for bad spelling, use of the wrong spelling
for a word. etc.

But you said it was a commentary about the public school system, and
that was ignorant. You have absolutely NO idea whether this person ever
attended a public school or not.

As suspected. You've been proven to have given a knee-jerk ignorant
response, and continue to do so.
