I've decided for our purposes, we'd be better off finding a good deal
on a 20-22 ft. open bow

What you really need is a good solid 18' tri-hull of about 1977 vintage. And
I just happen to know where one is ...

Thanks Earnest. I do appreciate the offer, however, thats really only
about a foot longer than what I have now.

Ah, but it's got that fabulous barge-like shape that makes it way roomier
than those pointy nosed things they make nowadays.

As ugly as those barge shaped things are, they really do look rather
practical and to be honest, I'd rather have one than one of the modern
bubble things, but then I like old boxy cars a lot better than modern
bubbls as well. When you want something to be roomy and useful on the
inside, a boxy form is the logical shape to make it.

The trihulls were one of the greatest boats for room inside for lake
boating. As long as the lake was smooooooth. Any chop and the chiropractor
collected.

Did you ever consider a walk-around cuddy? I've been very pleased with
mine, and it's much safer than the bubble boat for someone trying to get to
the front of the boat. Here is one like mine.

Thanks John, Hey! thats a nice looking boat!

I am look at a cuddy as we speak. I'm really not a cuddy fan, but this
is a 21 foot, marquis, with a GM 305 mercruiser, and it's priced down
to where its reasonable.

Mine doesn't do that.

Is yours a cathedral hull tri-hull or one of the later Airslots?
