You'll see boaters running around in everything from bare feet to shoes that are entirely inappropriate, IMO, for a boat. If you asked me to describe the sexuality of the folks wearing the various shoes, I wouldn't have a clue in most cases. OK, I guess the pot bellied bald guy wearing the two-inch pumps and mascara may be slightly obvious; but flip flops? No way. They are legitimate footware on a boat, for either sex. There are forces that want to chip, chip, chip away until we are a society of single mided conformists. How can "flip flops are for metrosexuals, not for real men" be considered news, anyway? |
