![]() "D-unit" wrote in message ... wrote in message oups.com... It's suppose to possibly snow here in ILLINOIS thursday. at least drom to a low of the 30's and a high of 44. I ahven't winterized my boat yeat. it's sitting in my waredhouse. with a concrete floor that will stay warm for a couple of days. This week end it's supposed to be back in the upper 60's and maybe later in the mid 70's again. Last eyar I took the boat out for a couple laps around thelake even after the time change, because a few days were almost in the 80's. My youngest brother has mothballed his boat for the winter. I know JimH has said he has. Anybody else? and in the midwest, what is the latest anybody goes out on the river/lake etc. on the average? I sold mine for the winter... db~looking forward to the boat show in Feb! What did you sell and what are you looking to buy? |

What did you sell and what are you looking to buy? Sold my Mako 254 and am really missing it now ![]() I just got tired of all the maintenance it required to keep it going. I'd like to find something a little smaller to get into the shallows but could take her out on a calm day. Something like a Carolina Skiff with a fairly new 4-stroke. I've never been on one before and understand the ride *may not* be as comfortable as it was on the Mako. I rather like the T-top on the Mako and would insist that whatever I get have one as well. db |
