New Grandchild in the family!
My younger daughter returned from Korea with the latest addition to the
grandchildren. Arie Seong Jin, a bright eyed baby boy, was adopted and brought home last week, while I was in Europe. We got to see him Sunday, and he's a cute little bugger. My other daughter had her other breast removed last Friday down in Richmond. She's doing well and returned home on Monday. |

Boy those American college students are gonna be ****ed when he's in College. If there's ONE Asian student in the class, it means everyone else has ZERO chance of being valedictorian....(c; Congratulations on bringing home the guy who's going to design our pencil- sized computer mainframe....Thanks! |

Just do exactly what HE does and you can be salutatorian, standing right behind him. LUCKILY for us, most of them working in menial tasks here, like in a Chinese restaurant, don't speak English, giving natives some chance at better jobs. They simply don't realize their full potential in time. Eastern Buffet is a wonderful Chinese restaurant, here. A black lady was standing at the cashier's counter waiting to pay her bill. The 7-8 year old son of one of the family members who owns the place walked around behind the counter and she was reluctant to hand him her credit card. I told her he was probably a Junior at university waiting for his opening at MIT to further his career and he'd do it right. She looked so astonished watching him use the credit card machine and the cash register, handing her both receipts nicely stapled together in rapid succession. I said to her, "Watch this." I handed him my bill and a Twenty which he rung up and didn't bother to put the twenty into the computer, counting up the change, twice, to make sure it was correct, something most McDonald's MANAGERS are incapable of accomplishing if their computer goes down.....(c; I chalk it up to genetics....which, I'm told, isn't politically correct.... He'll have his MBA by 2007....when he's 9. What them put a box in front of the microphone so he can reach it at commencement....(c; -- There's amazing intelligence in the Universe. You can tell because none of them ever called Earth. |
