Default help required getting a hobiecat on the water

I have been granted temporary access to a hobie cat (owners overseas).

I've figured out how to raise the sail, but I don't know where to
attach the 'rope' to the boom. By rope I mean the rope you pull on to
adjust the sail angle. As you may have noticed, I don't know all of the
technical terms!!

I don't really have time to get a book, or go to a shop for advice, I
just want to get out on the water!

By the way, I do have limited experience on a cat, but they have been
hire boats where you just walk up, pay your money & go sailing.

Thanks in advance

Thanks Scott - that helped heaps.

So what I do is attach the shackle at the end of the mainsheet system
to the block hanger on the boom.

Simple.
