Autumn in Paris
The question wasn't asked directly to me.
OK, but if you want to know about a country, or a province, or an area. I can't see any redeeming thing about living in the Saraha desert. Go educate yoyurself. basskisser wrote: wrote: Country? ship? anywhere? I was never on the slave ship FREDENSBORG, But I can't say there's much I'd appreciate about it. And unless you were a Dutch slave trader, I doubt if anyone could say much good about it anyhow.... Please read my statement again. But, again, let's educate you a tad. You DO realize that after being in horrendous dungeons for up to a year, that the slaves were, sometimes, treated better aboard ship and afterward, don't you? And, you didn't answer the question I asked. Do you think that it's OPEN minded to instantly and continuously say negative things about a country you've never been to? |

Sure thing! http://www.unesco.no/fredensborg/the_slaves_on_board/ Which states in part: The slaves, who made up the live cargo, were burdened by grief and desperation. Many had probably been sold several times before ending up in the fort's dungeons or barracoons, |

That proves not that a slave trading ship was a breath of fresh air.
Being shackeled in one spot and living for a month or so in your own filth, is far from a stroll abound the deck. basskisser wrote: wrote: basskisser wrote: Please read my statement again. By bringing to light the plight of slaves being held in dungeons? Do you even really KNOW what the word means???!!!! rac‧ism  /ˈreɪsɪzəm/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[rey-siz-uhm] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –noun 1. a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others. 2. a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination. 3. hatred or intolerance of another race or other races Okay, where have I ever said that my race was superior to another? Actually, if you'll read the article, on the ship there were even slave stewards!! So, yes, it could have been somewhat of a breath of fresh air to some of them. Did you not read that? Have you bleached your sheet and pointy hat lately? |

YOU said I was a racist, correct? In order to be a racist that means, according to you, that I've stated that my race is superior to another. What race did I say was inferior? Ergo, what race (MY RACE) did I say was superior? |

I know you won't, you're not bright enough. And you also don't have a shred of evidence, do you? |
