We did, thanks!

Caught 63 of them. They are in the cooler at the local fish cleaner
waiting
to be descaled and butterfly filleted. I will pick them up tomorrow.

Weather is predicted to be perfect........the perch are
biting..........heading out tomorrow! My wife is going out with me
so
we
can fill the cooler with 80 of them (Ohio limit on Lake Erie is 40
perch/person/day).

Mmmmmmmmmmm..........yellow perch. ;-)

Aren't they bony?

The fish the little kids target from the floats in the local marinas
are "pile perch", and they may be different from your yellow perch- but
a pile perch seems like it's about 80% bones and maybe 20% meat.....
Too much work to cook and eat, for what little meat you get, (IMO)

We did. Heck, my wife kissed me on the cheek on the way home for the great
time! It doesn't get any better than that!!

We will pick the fish up tomorrow..........descaled and butterfly filleted
professionally...........all 63 of them.

Preparing fresh caught yellow perch for the freezer or cooking is quite
different from preparing bass or walleye, even over a bottle of beer. At
least one person here does not quite understand that..........I am sure you
know who I am talking about. as he is the only one bitter that I had a nice
day on the water with my wife catching fish. ;-)

How sad.

I've filleted thousands of perch. Nothing to it. What do you think the
big deal about it IS?

and the thought that you would actually tell JimH to "have fun" on his
european vacation.

I think you mean JohnH. ;-)

And yes, I was jumped on by Kevin for that positive comment to John.

Where did Kevin jump on you? If you are referring to me, I simply cut
and pasted a direct quote from you to John not hours before your
"positve comment". Again, it is a direct quote of YOURS, so if you
think that I was jumping on you, then you must think you were jumping
on John!!

Kevin also jumped on me today for complimenting him on his advice in another
thread about a stripped bolt head, one which he offered good advice and
refrained from name calling. He called me a twit for complimenting him.

I simply told you that I'm not Kevin, idiot.

Very sad.

Yes, you are a sad specimen of humanity.

It is not rocket science Kevin. But I would rather have 63 fish descaled
and filleted by someone else rather than stinking up the place for an hour
or so doing it myself.

Take that stick out of your ass and folks might just start being friendly to
you.

I'm not Kevin, you dolt. Take THAT stick out of your ass.
Aren't you going to start talking trash about my family again, you low
life?
You certainly are bipolar and it surely doesn't take much to set you
off!
As for filleting fish, I find it enjoyable, almost theraputic. Perhaps
you should try it, it might do wonders for your current mental
conditions. As for your above blather, when you start acting like a man
instead of an imbicile, I'll start treating you like a man.
