Hi All
I have a 1989 King Cobra sterndrive (the real King - 460 Ford engine) - and have had constant issues with it. Because of the scarcity of parts, it's costing a fortune. We've been sending it to Canada for repairs which is a hassle. Does anyone know of a good mechanic in the US (southeast would be idea, I am in NC) who works on these? Thanks for your help! Shari |

Can't help you with a contact.
There have been various transom adapter plates that allowed you to replace other drives with mercs. I suspect you could probably wrangle a way to mate a merc bravo up to your 460 but it would be a whole lot simpler to use the present king, the chevy 502 :-) Shari wrote: Hi All I have a 1989 King Cobra sterndrive (the real King - 460 Ford engine) - and have had constant issues with it.
