Byte me. :) Some years Boston is enjoyable. Do have a question about Boston. In the 80's was there and they were fishing off a major bridge with heavy gear, and balloons floating the bait. What were they fishing for? |

What were they fishing for? I've done that fishing for stripers in the bay. Hook a live perch to the line and tie a balloon thereon to keep the perch from going straight to the bottom. Caught some nice fish that way too! -- ****************************************** ***** Hope your day is great! ***** ****************************************** John |

Depending on where they were fishing, it was probably stripers. It could have been for cod if it was later in the year - like December/January time frame. In the 80's, it wasn't all that uncommon for cod to wander into the harbor in the winter. What time of year was it? And where was the bridge? Was in July and the large Iron bridge you drove across while doing the tourist route. Was about 1987. |
