OMC Stringer
 

I have twin 305 OMC engines on my 277 Regal with stringer out drives,
last year I spun a hub and just did another one under load, on the same
out drive. The replacement hub was purchased used. What would cause the
hub's to break down like this other than the obvious ( used one worn
ect.).
