Fuel/Oil slick from exhaust of Turbo Diesel

I have twin 135 hp Turbo Volvo-Penta Diesels. The Starboard engine is
starting to send fuel or oil out the exhaust causing a slick on the
water.

The Port engine began to use more fuel since this began.

I have also noticed that the Starboard engine was using a lot more
engine oil than the Port engine. In the past , both engines used very
little engine oil.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what my problem might be?

Thanks

It sounds like your oil cooler has a small leak, you could also have a
fuel cooler or a transmission cooler leak. But if that engine is using
oil it's probably the oil cooler. I would have a pressure test
performed. If their's a leak the system won't maintain pressure and a
slick will form (as long as you don't have a water lift muffler)
without running the engine. A faulty injector could give you the oil
slick, but not increased oil usage. How did you determine the port
engine is using more fuel? Those fuel flow systems are not very
accurate, it's probably a coincidance.
