Weather forecast websites
 

Hi. Does someone know of a good website with weather forecast, tide
charts and other info relevant for sailboat trip planning in Europe? In
my case i'll soon set sail from Brest, France to Kristiansand, Norway.

I've heard of the GRIB system. Is there any good freeware out there?

For the english waters, check out:

For your way across the North Sea check out:

(it's in german)

For the ground pressure maps, you may want to take a look at

http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/dwdanal.html

Another good source is

http://www.dmi.dk/dmi/index/
(but it's in danish)

For the rest of the areas you will sail I don't know.
