Cannibalism in CT?

But, MA and CT are connected at the hip, so to speak, geographically and politically. From where I sit, looks like New England should be all one state. Except maybe Vermont, but only if they let cows vote ;) You mentioned a possible backlash- if the backlash is against moderates & Republicans for pandering to special interests to the detriment of the country (or just their constituents), for repeatedly and blatantly lying about their policies & agendas, and yes for the mismanaged & misdirected war, then it will be very difficult for Republicans to lose less by "claiming the middle." They have no credibility to claim anything. OTOH voters are very easy to fool. That's part of the problem here. Another is that fewer of them actually give enough of a darn to vote at all, thus giving disproportionate power to those whackoes who vote on only one issue, and care nothing about the practicality of trying to legislate that one issue. Regards Doug King It seems to me that the Democrats can gain considerable ground by simply banging Bush and his Republican rubber-stamp Congress for mismanaging and botching just about everything they've touched. The War in Iraq? Badly managed by Bush and the Republican Congress ever since our troops defeated Saddam's armies. Katrina? Badly managed by Bush and the Republican Congress from the moment it became clear the storm was going to devastate the Gulf Coast. Terry Schiavo? Ditto. Stem Cell Research? Ditto. The Federal Deficit? Ditto. We can do better. Here's how. With examples. And we will still be F%^ked! The Dem's have not done well either. Maybe why Congress has even less of an approval rating than the POTUS. We need more Liberman's that will stand up for the people, not for the party. And the Dem's putting Dean in charge, show they are clueless also. What are programs that the Dem's will implement? Where's the beef?! |

Excuses for what, Jackoff? Why do you keep calling me your favorite pastime? In any case, excuses for not having examples, a plan, etc. What you said I'd see after Labor Day. Or did you forget already? |

The week following Labor Day is the traditional time period for heavy duty politicking... More excuses. Sigh.... |
