Nice photos, sort of. Most of them seem to have a depressing tone.
Maybe it's just the overcrowded conditions and the dismal weather, but
something prevents them from being "happy", and that's certainly
regrettable.

Early morning fog and haze. The crowding in the antennafarm shot is
deliberate and results from the photographer's use of lens. The marina
is not particularly crowded; this stretch of it is for commercial boats
and has about 20 charter boats docked stern-to. On the weekend, the same
dock space is virtually empty.

"Happy" photos? I don't see how anyone with three 250 hp outboards on
the transom of their boat could be happy.

They're on the back of a Grady White. Somehow, I suspect that if that
guy's fuel bill has gone from $2000 a summer to $4000 a summer he's
probably still very happy to own that boat.

It's no worse than a pair of 454s and there are still a lot of boats
with that setup. Triple 250s seem to be increasingly popular these
days. I like the redundancy aspect because you should still be able
to run on plane with one engine down, and I sometimes see guys with
two engines tilted up, idling along on the center.

There was a older cigarette sitting on the side of a used car lot near
here a few years back. It had 4 mercurys on it. I think they were
300s but might have been 250s.

I had one for three years, biggest issue being inadequate fuel range,
even with a 300 gallon tank. We could run through that in less than a
day and then you needed an hour to fill up again where ever you
happened to be.
