260 mercruiser350 wont start
 
It ran fine all weekend and then took on water from a puts on a jet ski
and know it wont start.
where should I start p.s something is drawing a **** ton of volts wont
go past the starter stage will try to start but after a a few cranks it
kills the battery.Also it started to shift hard someone had told be
about a shift switch also saw a small puff of white by or under the dis
cap if anyone can help thanks

Try pulling the distributer cap and check for water.

If you are killing the battery after only a couple cranks and somehow took
on water, in the manifolds, I would say Hydrolock is your problem.
