JimH June 29th 06 10:52 PM

I've got my work cut out for me this next week.

Yesterday and today I received:

1. Shakespeare 5102 VHF Antenna
2. Shakespeare 4187 Ratchet Mount

3. Horizon Eclipse+ fixed mount VHF Marine Radio w/NOAA Weather Alert

4. Two 8 foot and one 3 foot #2 AWG marine tinned battery cables with
connectors professionally attached and with heat shrink.

So, I now have a fixed mount marine radio and antenna, along with a battery
A/B switch to install on the boat while on vacation (which starts tomorrow
afternoon!) this next week. I also have to repair the lights on my trailer
as we will be hauling the boat with us when we vacation on Put-In-Bay later
in July.

With that................all I will have left to do is repair the fuel gauge
sending unit, but that will wait till next spring (we now fill up on every
other return trip with the boat).

It has been a long road on the repairs and upgrades on this little runabout
but I can now almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. ;-)

The tunnel is simply half of a circle.

You are correct. Even though our previous boats were pretty loaded I always
found something new (and sometimes expensive) they *needed*.

Maybe Penn and Teller will unveil the secret to that illusion to boaters
someday. ;-)

It might very well be! Thanks. I have a morning appointment tomorrow and
then I am calling it quits till 7/10. We are heading out to the north side
of Kelley's Island with friends of ours after that appointment and will be
doing some relaxing, swimming and general chilling near the beach all
afternoon.

After that comes more boating on Saturday, a graduation party on Sunday,
boating on Monday and a blow out 4th of July party at my sisters place on
Tuesday. After that.........who knows......

What are your plans?

I'll be celebrating July 1 by finishing up crackfilling/skim coating
walls & ceiling in my bathroom in preparation for sealing & tiling.
Also have a larger exhaust fan to install.
