1999 Sea Doo challenger 1800, starts but will not acclerate

Boat has been sitting for 3 years. There was water in the gas, we
pumped out all old gas and put in 93 octane with carb cleaner and
octane boost. Both engines will start and idle fairly smooth, but
idling at 3200rpm and will not accelerate...boggs down at about
4000rpm. Spark plugs are black, but not burnt. Replaced both fuel
filters, checked screen in tank and checked screen in carb...both are
clean. I have taken carbs apart and they look clean.
Any suggestions on what I need to do to get it running properly?

Thanks!
LEW

I agree, carbs. Probably full of corrosion from the water.

I would suspect the timing advance mechanism.... except it is both
engines..... commonality there is the fuel system. I'd check vent
lines, fuel lines, filters, etc..... and I'd still be REALLY
suspicious of the carbs....
