I read something, somewhere.... from someone familiar with this
accident that explained this in terms of the small boat driver
becoming totally frazzled and avoiding the larger vessel by actually
turning into it....

... visually, it really makes no sense.....

That makes more sense than the insurance scam. No way would someone be
on the front of the boat like that for an insuransce scam.

Correct! it makes no sense whatsoever. plenty of room to stay on
course, turning too sharp to port causeing the sale craft to stall
sideways. people on the deck of the sailboat just .."watching" makes
no sense at all.

totally freaky!

No, sorry. If I knew the name of the boat, I could search for it, but
don't remember. The full story was on the web site of a newspaper

charges brought against the guy. I guess you could search for something

I just hate it when people jump to conclusions without any idea what
was going on. That is truly ignorant. Do you not think there could have
been a medical emergency? Perhaps the pilot slipped and fell? Perhaps
the steering went out? But, no, you instantly blame it on someone's
ignorance who you've never met, no nothing about the events leading up
to his demise, etc.

Thanks Gene, good suggestion Both are now killfiled (once again as I gave
them both a second chance to behave just recently). Before doing so tonight
I have noticed JohnH continuing to troll for a fight tonight with me and a
couple of other members here.

Too bad they both just can't learn to behave and get along with folks. This
NG will be far better if that happened.

Have a great evening Gene. How is the weather looking for your holiday

Bassy,
The only way to stop improper behavior in UseNet is to ignore it. It is
too easy to become just as obnoxious and just as manic as the person one
are trying to correct. Instead of having one person cluttering up a
NG, you now have two fighting for the one "knock out" punch. Trust me,
when you argue in a NG, no one ever wins, and normally you have two losers.

That, clearly, is where you don't get it. You can discipline a child.
You can't discipline a USENET poster. You can only rant and rave
against their behavior...... so they smile impishly ...... and poke
you in the ribs a few more times.

You'd like to think that you are defending yourself, yet you are
merely playing the part of a squeaky toy..... Get it?

Then why did you say this to Eisboch:
Thanks again for all your help on this Richard.
BTW: I was obviously out of line with you in the recent past.

And some more of your rants, obnoxious and manic behavior:

ROTFLMAO. Thanks for the good laugh Jimcomma.

Get a life Kevin. Then try to start to post about boats and positive
things
instead of the childish crap you clog this NG with everyday.

Come on Chuck. Why can't you just let go of this nonsense and say OK

You and Kevin are absolutely fixated on me. The is your second post

I see you are still obsessed with me and posting negative comments
about me John. This happens to be a topic others chose to post
comments on. You, on the other hand, chose to make a personal attack
on me.

Why am I not surprised?

BTW John, didn't you post a couple of attacks on folks here over the

How ironic..........eh?
