Speedometer pitot tube or transducer...Where is it?
The speedometer stopped working on my new boat (2006 Bayliner 175). On
my old boat, I had a pitot tube sticking out of the transom but on the new boat I see no such thing. I am assuming the water pressure intake (doing the speed reading) is plugged but I have no idea where it is. Could it actually be on the motor (I/O Mercruiser 135hp Alpha)? Kind of hard to fix the problem when you don't even know where to look... Andre |

been there done that (I have an 05 175) the speedo intake is in the bottom
front portion of the lower leg (outdrive). "Melandre" wrote in message oups.com... The speedometer stopped working on my new boat (2006 Bayliner 175).
