The size of the tank is important here, as well as the maximum tank
psi. If your compressor has a larger tank than the volume of the
tire,
then it's almost instantaneous, slowed down only by the size of the
various component openings like valve stems, hose, fittings, etc.

It's not instantaneous. It's slowed down a great deal by the valve
stem
diameter...much more than you assumption accounted for.

I acknowledged that you said that. But I also said that the valve stem
slows things down a lot more than you accounted for. Thus, it's hardly
*instantaneous*.

Nope. Never said "nearly instantaneous". I guess you can't read very
well. But, anyway, I said "almost instantaneous", but more than that
you fail to see the qualifier after, which would read "almost
instantaneous, SLOWED DOWN ONY :BY........."

Now, I'll ask again, since you seem to be able to read minds, how much
DID I "account" for? You do realize that a statement like "almost
instantaneous" is relative, don't you? "Almost instantaneous" has a
much different meaning if we are using it to describe something
happening in a galaxy millions of light years from here, than it does
when using it to describe something happening in a nanochip.

Sorry, but you're wrong. Each one of those compressors will fill the tire
at
the same rate since each exceeds the CFM that the valve stem will allow.

Damn, you are just too narrow minded to understand, aren't you? Please
note the second definition below. Now to put "almost" dumbed down so
perhaps even you can understand that it's relative, let's say I am
doing to jobs. One will take 5 years to complete, the other 5 minutes.
Would you say that if I told you the one taking 5 years is "almost"
completed, that it would mean the same exact amount of time to complete
than when I said the task taking 5 minutes was "almost" done?
